Likewise. I’ve been trying to figure out local marketing since I purchased MLF a year and a half ago. If you say you can get monthly clients, that means I don’t have to go out and pitch services every single day!
Yeah, getting clients is the hard part. The tech stuff – no problem. Getting people to pay you is the issue.
I can only make it Tuesday afternoon or night. Can you make sure it’s scheduled then?

But what I’m not understanding it where you say you max out on the six or so people you take on as your monthly clients. How much time do you give them during the month?
They get about 2 or 3 hours of my personal time an then some of them are having work done by my team at the same time.
I don’t limit myself to 6 or 8 clients because of time – I limit myself to 6 or 8 clients because I don’t like having any more than that. Too much other stuff to do, like build affiliate money sites :0)

Absolutely. There’s lots of different ways to do it. Kate Buck does social media management (managing FB or Twitter). I like search engines and mobile marketing. Others can manage a clients website or help them with their email list or past clients.
There’s so much different stuff to do but the key is to get in front of clients. Most everything else flows out of that.

This couldn’t have come at a better time. I recently became “freelance” again and the biggest hurdle I have is getting clients. I have the skills with all the tech stuff, but I wish I could transfer some of that to the sales side. I would have it MADE if I could master sales.

Hey Jason – Please count me in for a webinar! I’ve almost thrown in the towel over the client thing. One day, they’re raring to go, the next day, they can’t spend the money. It is VERY frustrating.
Tuesday is great for me, but I prefer afternoons, as I have kids who very graciously monopolize most of my evenings. =)

Its great to get them but its best to over perform and then as you said the referrals roll in
Very, very well said. Ideally, after your first couple you don’t ever need to go out and LOOK for new clients. It’s far better to just have them come to you… And you can charge roughly 50% more..

Your timing is perfect. I’ve been following the Local Marketing webinars and sales pitch of somebody else for the past few weeks and was getting ready to dive in next week. He’s received pretty high marks from IM Report Card, but I like your training style much better. So, I’m psyched and ready to attend your Local Marketing webinar regardless of the day and time.
On a different note, in 2010 I attempted some affiliate marketing after paying huge fees to an organization that will remain nameless. Everything was done through CJ, but the furthest that I got was to have BlueHost prepare some landing pages for me. I didn’t make a penny from my pages, but that is my fault because I gave up too early in the process when I felt that the training wasn’t clear enough.
Now, I attended your training replay last night, am following the training modules on Money Site, and I need help filling in the Amazon application because most of the questions refer to my website, which I don’t have yet. Should I be directing questions like these to the Axiium Media Zendesk?

Your report is good, but it sounds like you really have to know your stuff before getting in front of clients. I know a few things about SEO, but I don’t have enough confidence to tell a client I will generate an additional $10,000 per month for them.

The beautiful thing is they are both both pretty easy business models and have a lot of the same skill sets – it’s just one is working with affiliate programs and one is working with clients :0)
In both cases, you want to get traffic from search engines – the end result is just a little different :0)

I have several clients but I’m doing lots of work (with two VA’s) and still not making anywhere near enough money!
Really need that boost to target clients that are at the next level and have the money in their budgets to pay more and for more services! They will see much better results too!
